Our eye doctors (Optometrists) are committed to providing excellent care for you and your entire family! They have been extensively trained and are not only professional but also fun to talk to. We treat our patients like family and friends and we always support our community.
Dr. Jason Lam O.D., M.B.A.
Dr. Lam was born in a boat in international waters but calls California his home. He was raised in Monterey Park and obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in Psychobiology from the University of California at Los Angeles (GO BRUINS!). Dr. Lam then obtained his doctorate degree from the Southern California College of Optometry. Lastly, he then obtained a masters degree in business administration with a healthcare executive entrepreneurship emphasis at the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California at Irvine.
He has worked in Ophthalmology at the prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA and for Macy Eye Center at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital towers. He has proudly served the veterans of our military at the Veteran Affairs (VA) Hospital in Los Angeles. He previously was the Clinical Director for NVision Laser Eye Centers where he managed the surgical and medical care of patients getting LASIK, Cataracts surgery, Corneal Inlays, PRK, Intacs, ICL, PresbyLASIK, Blepharoplasty, Glaucoma, Dry Eye disorders and much more. When needed, Dr. Lam serves as a faculty Assistant Professor for the University Eye Care of Los Angeles, a subsidiary clinic of the Southern California College of Optometry at Ketchum University.
However, Dr. Lam's most proud moments are when he gives his time to provide charitable eye care. He has been on 4 International missions to Honduras, Panama, Cambodia and South Africa and 10 domestic missions to the population of Los Angeles (4x), Bakersfield (2x), San Diego (2x), Vista and Santa Ana through his affiliation with the One Sight organization. Dr. Lam has served as an expert examiner for the National Boards of Examinations in Optometry and was the 2016 President of the Asian American Optometric Society, the largest Optometric society in California.
For his work for Optometry, the community and for his patients, Dr. Lam was awarded the prestigious California Optometric Association's Young Optometrist of the Year award in 2012. An award bestowed upon select few Optometrists each year after a nomination process statewide.
He is excited and proud to call the community and the people of Corona and Ontario (and it's surrounding areas) his new family and he hopes to serve it well.
Dr. Una Ng O.D. (pronounced yoo-na Ing)
Dr. Ng studied Optometry at Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) at Ketchum University.
During her time at SCCO, Dr. Ng received training at Camp Pendleton Hospital Eye Clinic, Indian Health Service Hospital in Lawton, OK, Veteran Affairs Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT and the University Eye Care Center at Ketchum Health. Dr. Ng's favorite clinical site is Camp Pendleton where she developed a special interest and skill in treating and managing red eyes, conjunctivitis and foreign bodies.
After receiving her Doctorate in Optometry, Dr. Ng has worked consistently in the San Gabriel Valley and Orange County area. Dr. Ng has special knowledge and skills in managing myopia (near nearsightedness) with night time ortho-keratology lenses.
Dr. Ng's personal interests include cooking, and working out to 90's music.
Dr. Amanda Walsh O.D.
Dr. Amanda Walsh is a graduate of Midwestern University Arizona College of Optometry, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree. She served as the Class President, President of the Christian Medical and Dental Association and Vice President of the Gold Key Honor Society. A Southern California native, Dr. Walsh received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from California State University San Marcos.
She has completed several advanced internships specializing in primary care, low vision, binocular vision disorders, contact lenses, pediatrics, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and pre- and post-operative care for LASIK and cataract surgery patients. She interned at the Phoenix Veterans Hospital, Tayani Eye Institute, Midwestern Eye Institute and Accent Eyecare and Sports Vision Therapy.
As part of her training, Dr. Walsh conducted research with a focus on the effect of blue light exposure on human retinal cells. Her special interests include myopia management, dry eye treatment and specialty contact lenses.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry.
Additionally, she enjoys volunteering with the Illumination Foundation, Neighborhood Christian Clinic and Girl Scouts of America.
Dr. Walsh is excited to be a primary eye care provider in her home state and serve the community of Corona. She treats every patient like family and provides them with the highest quality of care using the latest technology.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Walsh enjoys spending time with her husband trying new food places, exploring the parks at Disneyland and traveling.
