Dr. Lam's journey began in an extraordinary way—he was born on a boat in international waters but proudly considers California his home. Raised in Monterey Park, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (Go Bruins!). He then completed his doctorate at the Southern California College of Optometry, followed by a Master's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Healthcare Executive Leadership from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine.

Dr. Vicki Nguon has lived in the Inland Empire area for well over a decade. She is an alumna of Eleanor Roosevelt High School where she played tennis and has previously represented the city of Corona in competitive USTA Team Tennis tournaments.

Sandra Ruezga, O.D. received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University in 2013. She went on to pursue further advanced training and completed a residency in Primary Eye Care/Ocular Disease at the New Mexico VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she participated in an ongoing prospective research investigation for detecting early Glaucoma.

Dr. Karen Tai grew up in Houston, Texas. She completed her bachelor’s degree in biology from theUniversity of Texas at Austin and continued her studies at the University of Houston College of Optometry, where she earned her doctorate degree. Her clinical training included rotations inprimary care, special needs adult and pediatric services, contact lens, and ocular disease, where she received a letter of clinical excellence.
